Role Description
The Territory Development Manager is a full-time, field-based role covering the Washington, D.C.–Baltimore metropolitan area, including surrounding markets in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. This position focuses on expanding GFO Stone's market presence, developing new business opportunities, and building long-term relationships with fabricators, contractors, designers, architects, builders, and other stone industry professionals.
The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to territory growth by identifying prospective customers, conducting regular client visits, presenting GFO Stone's product portfolio, and strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, coordinating product presentations and sample requests, supporting residential and commercial project specifications, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and collaborating with internal sales and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service and reliable material availability.
The Territory Development Manager will also manage a sales pipeline, prepare proposals, track performance against sales targets, and provide strategic feedback to leadership regarding market opportunities and territory expansion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in territory development, outside sales, or business development, preferably within
